Bio Lù is an agricultural company born from the knowledge and experiences passed down through generations in the territories of Irpinia and Sannio, once traversed by the Ancient Appian Way along the Calore River and the Appiano Bridge, in the hearth of Italy.

We draw inspiration from the wisdom handed down for generations to cultivate and harvest cereals, legumes, and medicinal plants in our local fields. Our choice to adopt organic farming practices is not only a commitment to quality and health but also a profound respect for the environment and biodiversity.

In our fields, we leave many uncultivated areas to favor the restoration of the local ecosystem, thus contributing to the conservation of nature and the safeguarding of native flora and fauna.

The harvesting of our products is mainly done by hand, following traditional methods that minimize the use of mechanical means. Additionally, we adopt a cold dehydration drying method for the herbs and flowers collected, thus preserving the colors and active principles of the raw material intact.

We actively engage in the recovery and safeguarding of ancient seeds, precious resources at risk of extinction. Among these, we valorize "Senatore Cappelli" durum wheat and "Gentil Rosso" soft wheat, cultivated with care and stone-ground to obtain high-quality wholemeal flours, semi-wholemeal flours, and pasta.

In contrast to conventional practices, we categorically reject the use of synthetic fertilizers and chemical products, opting instead for natural and sustainable resources. We firmly oppose GMOs and are committed to preserving the environment, reducing water resource waste, and combating soil erosion.
